ASW would like to thank everyone involved with our first ride at Dowshill Bampton, the day went extremely well & apart from a bit of rain at the start stayed dry for the rest of the day.

In the youth classes were some exceptional performances from Ben Cole In the 4 stroke class James Loftus 125cc, Shaun Kersey, Ben Scott, Robbi Cross, Sophie Thomas, & Adam Butt all finish with 9 laps in the 85cc class.

Dominic Thomas finished before his 65cc rival Ashley Pike who retired on lap 5 to go to his brother Alex's aid after a wipeout on lap 4 saw him retire with a wrist injury.

A special big up to Jack White on a 125cc who despite having a few more than many off's completed the 1.5 hrs with 3 laps.

The Star of the day for the youth class was little Steve Holcombe who had a fastest lap time of 8.86 which gave him a total of 10 laps & put him 16th out of 108 riders for fastest lap.

The top 3 finishers for the novice class were 1st James Pattinson 13 laps, 2nd Daniel Thorne 12 laps, 3rd Richard Ackland 12 laps.

Sportsman may have seen some slightly more experienced riders finishing with Ben Griffith 16 laps, Ben Pyne 15 laps & Brother to Young Steve was Matt Holcombe with 15 laps.

Caroline & Simon Rutley-Frayne of Casimo Software provided the Timing software which worked a dream. Casimo are now offering this software for sale to other clubs who may be interested.
